What You'll Be Doing

No two days are the same. Your work may include:

• Installing seasonal and decorative plantings in beds & planters
• Maintaining commercial and multi-residential landscapes to a high standard
• Caring for trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals, and turf
• Pruning, weeding, cultivating, mulching, and watering
• Assisting with planting and softscape installation projects
• Transporting and handling nursery stock and plant materials
• Watering and maintaining landscapes throughout the downtown core
• Supporting plant care and preparation at our company yard
• Applying sustainable and environmentally responsible horticultural practices

What We're Looking For

We're interested in team members who:

• Enjoy working outdoors and staying active
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Have landscape, horticulture, or gardening experience (formal education is an asset)
• Have experience with seasonal planting displays and landscape maintenance
• Hold a valid Ontario Class G Driver's Licence
• Are comfortable driving larger vehicles in the downtown core
• Are reliable, punctual, self-motivated, and team-oriented
• Take pride in delivering exceptional work

Position Details

• Full-time seasonal position
• Approximately 50 hours per week
• Immediate start available
• Regular season runs from April through December
• Some weekend work required during peak periods (4 saturdays a year)
