Is it possible that the often dispassionate nature of journalism is a major cause of the hopelessness, the disempowerment that people feel — our collective apathy? Is “unbiased” implicitly in favour of the powers that be? Fearful for our jobs, are we stabbing ourselves in the foot?
Or will we realize that our economy, despite its achievements, is deeply flawed? Together, will we join the fight for our lives?
