We’re inviting a grounded couple or pair to join us for a summer on a peaceful, car-free Caribbean island.

This is a lifestyle and skills exchange at a small, nature-immersed retreat surrounded by ocean, jungle, and wellness guests.

In exchange for your time and practical skills, you’ll receive accommodation and the opportunity to live deeply connected to nature, community, and slow island living.

Role Overview

Your focus will be hands-on property care and ongoing improvement projects, including:

• Wood repairs and upkeep on cabanas and decks
• Sanding, painting, and restoring wooden doors and windows
• Repairing small structures, steps, and outdoor features
• General maintenance to keep shared spaces safe and welcoming
• Supporting ongoing improvement projects across the property
• Light gardening and outdoor upkeep when needed

You’ll work alongside a small local team in a collaborative, grounded environment.

Who This Is For

This opportunity is ideal for a couple or pair who:

• Enjoy hands-on, practical work (especially wood repair and maintenance)
• Are comfortable living in a remote, off-grid island setting
• Appreciate simple living, nature, and a wellness-focused environment
• Are independent, reliable, and proactive problem-solvers
• Prefer slow island life over modern city comforts
• Are open to working alongside local islanders in a respectful exchange of skills
• Feel comfortable in a tropical environment with insects, heat, humidity, and dense nature
• Don’t mind a very natural, jungle-style living setting
• Love fresh food from the land and sea, seasonal island fruits, and simple living
• Are excited about planting, gardening, and helping expand tropical landscaping and fruit trees across the property

This is a grounded, nature-immersed lifestyle exchange, not a resort experience.

Experience in carpentry, maintenance, DIY building, gardening, or eco-living is strongly preferred.

Little Corn Island is a car-free Caribbean sanctuary known for turquoise water, coral reefs, jungle paths, and barefoot living.
