Position: Digital Infrastructure Coordinator

Position Overview

We are seeking a creative and technically-minded Digital Infrastructure Coordinator to steward SEIZE's digital ecosystem. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining the organization's digital communications, websites, visual identity, and digital platforms while supporting the implementation of systems that strengthen collaboration, member engagement, and organizational effectiveness. The ideal candidate is an adaptable digital generalist with experience in communications, web development, graphic design, and digital systems, and is passionate about using technology to support community organizing and social transformation. This position will work closely alongside the Operations Coordinator and General Coordinator at SEIZE.

Core Areas of Responsibility:

Digital Communications & Content (35%)

  • Produce and publish digital content across SEIZE's communications channels while working closely alongside the coordination team to obtain detailed information about upcoming activities.
  • Maintain an organized calendar of events and activities to facilitate timely content creation.

Brand & Visual Design (15%)

  • Develop templates, publications, reports, presentations, and promotional materials as needed.
  • Support branding processes for new programs, campaigns, and initiatives as needed.
  • Design graphics and visual assets that align with SEIZE’s various brand identities.

Website & Digital Development (20%)

  • Ensure websites remain accessible, functional, and up to date.
  • Improve user experience and digital accessibility where possible.

Digital Systems & Operations (15%)

  • Maintain and improve SEIZE's digital systems, including CRM, membership databases, cloud platforms, and collaboration tools.
  • Lead the implementation, configuration, and administration of organizational digital platforms.

Organizational Responsibilities (15%)

  • Support in-person outreach (tabling and postering) for campaigns, programs, and event communications as needed.
  • Provide leadership in at least one working group or committee.
  • Contribute to team meetings, strategic planning and organizational development as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for technology, community development and the solidarity economy.
  • Demonstrated experience with website development, content management, and ongoing website administration.
  • Experience producing digital assets for social media, websites, and other online platforms.
  • Proficiency with graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent).
  • Experience administering digital collaboration tools, databases, or CRM platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Hybrid position based in Montreal, QC with peak in-person activities in September & January.
  • Ability to begin as early as September 14th, 2026

Compensation:

  • On average 20 hours per week, with seasonal fluctuations between 15-25 hours per week
  • Depending on experience compensated at $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
  • $50 per month telecommunications stipend
  • $500 annual health & wellness stipend
