Position Overview
Reporting to the Manager, Education & Community Development, the Regional Lead is responsible for coordinating and implementing the Canadian Wildlife Federation’s (CWF) education and community development programs delivered through the Canadian Centre for Nature-based Education (CCNbE) within an assigned region.
The Regional Lead plays a key role in delivering education programming, supporting community access to nature-based learning, and fostering strong regional relationships with partners, participants, and volunteers. This role involves a combination of program planning and delivery, community engagement, volunteer coordination, and fund development in support of CWF’s mission and CCNbE objectives.
Through effective relationship building and the application of asset-based community development approaches, this role connects youth, educators, volunteers, and community partners to a wide range of conservation and nature-based education opportunities across their region, whether delivered by CWF/CCNbE or aligned partner organizations.
