Summer Gardener

Are you looking for a rewarding and physically active job with a crew of great people? We’re currently looking for a part-time gardener to join our team. The position requires a commitment of 2 days/week, from May to the end of August.

Our landscaping crew cares for gardens every day, bringing joy and beauty to our clients and the communities we work in. If you love working outside and being around plants - we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities include:

• Garden maintenance, incl. weeding, edging, deadheading and pruning
• Preparation and grading of garden beds, holes, plant material and watering
• Safe and responsible operation of various 2 stroke engines incl. trimmers, blowers and hedge trimmers

Qualifications:

• Any experience working in gardens is always a plus
• A strong interest in ecology, art & design and horticulture
• Good manual dexterity and co-ordination
• Excellent physical stamina is required with the ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Candidates with a clean and G license could earn higher wages by driving our truck

Salary:

$19- $25/hour depending on experience
