Hiring: Gardener (3-4 days/week)
Company: Lake Fine Gardens
Location: Downtown Toronto, Ontario

Lake Fine Gardens is a downtown Toronto-based landscape design and garden maintenace company specializing in the creation of vibrant, ecologically rich gardens that support native plants, pollinators, and local wildlife. We are seeking a part-time gardener (3-4 days per week), between April and December.

Responsibilities include:

• Garden maintenance, incl. weeding, edging, deadheading and pruning
• Preparation and grading of garden beds, holes, plant material and watering
• Safe and responsible operation of various 2 stroke engines incl. trimmers, blowers and hedge trimmers

Qualifications:

• Clean drivers license and own vehicle - we pay mileage when transporting equipment and/staff
• Any experience working in gardens is always a plus
• A strong interest in ecology, design and horticulture
• Good manual dexterity and co-ordination
• Excellent physical stamina is required with the ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

Salary:

$25-27/hour depending on experience
