Hiring: Gardener/Landscaper

Earth Inc is an award-winning landscape design company in Toronto that blends horticulture and architecture to engage the senses and lift the spirits.

The Role:

• Monday to Friday 8 am - 6 pm, April to mid-December in Toronto’s East End as part of our planting and maintenance crew
• maintenance of established gardens – weeding, pruning of small trees, hedges and woody shrubs, mulching, edging, staking and training vines, pest identification, plant division, bulb installation and seasonal clean-ups
• installation of new gardens – including tree planting
• seasonal planter arrangements
• knowledgeable and friendly communication with clients
• safely use electric power tools

What We’re Looking For:

• well-versed in the world of horticulture
• capable of meeting the physical demands of the position
• willing and able to work in adverse weather conditions
• a self-motivated individual that is great at teamwork
• someone that is reliable, hardworking and fun-loving

Bonus Points For:

• valid G driver’s license with a clean record and experience driving a pick-up truck

Although training will be provided, previous experience a serious asset.
