Position: Fundraising and Marketing Manager
Organization: Pacific Wild
Location: Downtown Victoria BC
Pacific Wild Alliance is seeking a Fundraising and Marketing Manager to help power one of Canada’s most impactful conservation organizations.

If you’re a strategic fundraiser, a creative marketer, and a relationship-builder at heart — and you want your work to directly support the protection of British Columbia’s wildlife and wild places — this role is for you.
About Us
Pacific Wild is a small but well-established non-profit conservation charity, based in the stunning city of Victoria, British Columbia.
We protect the lands, waters, and wildlife of the Pacific Northwest — from ancient rainforests and rugged coasts to the interior landscapes of British Columbia — safeguarding ecosystems for wolves, caribou, salmon, and countless other species. Our mission is clear: conserve biodiversity and healthy ecosystems through solutions grounded in science, led by communities, and powered by public engagement that drives real impact.

Using bold visual storytelling, evidence-based research, public education, legal action, and community-led initiatives, we influence policy, shape public opinion, and inspire action. We collaborate closely with First Nations, local communities, scientists, creators, businesses, and a mobilized citizenry to achieve lasting conservation outcomes.
At Pacific Wild, you’ll be part of a dynamic, team-based, values-driven environment where your work connects directly to the places and species we protect. We foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive workplace and welcome applicants who bring unique perspectives, worldviews, and lived experiences.
The Role
Pacific Wild’s success depends on a growing and engaged community of supporters who energize our campaigns across British Columbia.
In this role, you will lead major gifts as the primary growth area, working closely with the Executive Director to cultivate and steward high-capacity donors and sponsors who want to make a lasting difference.
Alongside major gifts, you will oversee a diversified funding mix, including monthly and one-time donors, grants, legacy giving, and mission-driven earned revenue through fine art, books, and merchandise. You’ll work closely with a talented team of storytellers, campaigners, and conservation professionals to ensure all fundraising and marketing efforts uphold Pacific Wild’s values and extend the reach of our work.
This is a senior, hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how to turn purpose into momentum — and momentum into lasting support for wildlife and wild places.
