Position: Associate Specialist, Ecosystem Restoration

Location: Hybrid – Work from WWF-Canada office in Fredericton, New Brunswick
Position Description
WWF-Canada has worked in the Wolastoq (Saint John River) Watershed for over a decade to support healthy ecosystems and resilient communities. The Associate Specialist, Ecosystem Restoration will support the planning, delivery, and evaluation of restoration and stewardship initiatives in the Wolastoq region consistent with WWF-Canada's Strategic Plan and regional priorities.
The Associate Specialist will contribute to on-the-ground project delivery, partner coordination, research, monitoring, communications, and community engagement to ensure restoration initiatives are working towards complex terrestrial and freshwater ecosystems for wildlife and carbon storage. This role will also require planning community events and support WWF-Canada initiatives such as seed orchard and large-scale ecological restoration.
