Summer on Georgian Bay with Room and Board

The Tadenac Club is a privately owned nature reserve that was established 140 years ago where members can be close to nature and enjoy fishing and other outdoor activities. The Club recently set aside 5400 acres of its property into an nature conservancy. Over its history the Club has made a minimal footprint on its land and waters, building only a Clubhouse and staff quarters on the property. The Club has sponsored environmental reseach at many universities for decades.

We are currently looking for a house staff position for the summer. Your duties would be to setup and clear the dining room for breakfast and dinner as well as housekeeping and laundry for the five bedrooms and general dusting and cleanup around the Clubhouse. An executive chef will prepare the meals for the members and you will get to enjoy the same food with the other staff.

The Clubhouse in on the water so free time can be spent swimming, canoeing, fishing or just catching a few rays with a book. Access is by boat in this pristine wilderness, but the Club has Starlink internet and some cell service.

In addition to room and board, the wages are $ 750 per week with a potential end of season bonus. Start date would be June 18th to Labour Day. While full time, there is a 3 day staff break in July. This position will appeal to someone that has spent some time at summer camp, but needs to make a bit more money for their education.
