Position Overview:
The Carbon Markets Bureau at Environment & Climate Change Canada is responsible for developing and implementing market-based environmental policies, including pricing carbon pollution.
We are seeking an economist to contribute to analysis of industrial carbon pricing systems. Our team does interesting, high-impact work on a priority issue. The role involves quantitative research and analysis and developing briefing products for senior decision-makers. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with technical and economic issues, can think strategically, and is eager to dive into complex policy issues and develop solutions.

Salary Range: $67,438- $95,653, commensurate with experience
