  • Working with Heritage Grains (Corn, Wheat & Barley)
  • Setting up trail grain plots
  • Seed cleaning and saving
  • Design, preparation & heritage planting of our garden plots
  • Harvesting (including fruits from edible trees, vegetables from the garden, heritage grains from fields)

Please take time to check out our website and learn more about our mission as farmers and what we do at http://www.againsthegrainfarms.ca .

Accommodations

The farm is located in Winchester, ON about 45 minutes from downtown Ottawa. There are accommodations available if the apprentice desires to stay on site. A personal vehicle will be an asset if you wish to go into town or further on your days off.

Compensation
