We are looking for passionate sustainability and education leaders to support our organization with updating our Student Leadership for Change (SLC) learning resources, and create new social and racial justice educational materials! Our vision for these learning resources is to inspire the thousands of BC students who use them each year to find hope and take meaningful action on climate, environmental and social justice.

Be The Change Earth Alliance (BTCEA) is a bold, agile and creative charitable organization founded in 2005 with a mission to educate and empower youth to take personal and collective action on climate change and other environmental and social issues. Our work contributes to global sustainability through education that empowers personal and collective change.

BTC’s flagship program, Student Leadership for Change (SLC), is a comprehensive suite of eco-social learning materials to help students connect global issues to local solutions by taking specific, measurable actions in their own lives. These materials have been developed collaboratively with teachers and used in hundreds of classrooms across BC.

Our team augments SLC by providing assemblies and education-in-action workshops for students and Professional Development workshops for teachers. The SLC holistically covers a full spectrum of ways participants can ‘be the change’ to address global issues, from individual, school and community actions to political advocacy.
