We are a grassroots organization looking for parents, grandparents, carers, guardians, step-parents, godparents, aunts, uncles and all who support the youth in their demands for a safe future. The work we must do to protect future generations requires co-operation of global proportions and scale. We must show our leaders that co-operation of this nature is possible. We must lead by example with a united demand for climate action across the world.
Our Global Mission
To get adults globally to pledge to reduce their own emissions and work in our local communities for action on emissions, pollution and wildlife but also recognize that this is not enough. We must demand that our governments take action to regulate so that never again will short term profits be prioritized over a safe climate future.
Parents for Future Canada is a fledgling chapter of Parents for Future Global, led by parents that need to take action for the future. If you are scared or angry, or grieving because the current climate crisis, you are not alone. We need passionate adults from across Canada to demand climate action in their local communities. The only way forward is not to give up but to mobilize and demand action now for a better future.
Volunteer Web Developer
Our volunteer web developer will have an opportunity to learn more about how an active, grassroots environmental organization functions. We are looker for a volunteer with web development experience to help Parents for Future Canada develop a web presence. We are looking for some with experience using Nationbuilder or another similar platforrm, energy, optimism and a passion for creating a fossil fuel free future.
