Position: Twitter & Instagram manager
Organization: Repair Café Toronto
Location: Toronto, Ontario

Repair Café Toronto promotes events where neighbours help neighbours fix broken household items – small appliances and furniture, home electronics and computers, general housewares, clothes, jewellery, bikes, toys, book and paper repair, and more. If you can carry it, we will help try to fix it. For free!

Repair Café Toronto is looking for an enthusiastic, capable volunteer to manage our Twitter and/or Instagram social media accounts.

  • Post notice of upcoming events as they arise according to Repair Café Toronto’s calendar.
  • Post additional encouragement a day or two before the event.
  • Post 'live' from any event they attend providing inspiration, spreading word of the activity while having fun.
  • Share related posts, e.g. right-to-repair news, local eco organizations' news, etc.
  • Time commitment: 2-4 hours a week.

If you’re interested, please come to a Repair Café event (see event calendar on website for dates and locations) or send a resumé and cover letter to:
