VOLUNTEER POSITIONS

Position: Volunteer at the Leslieville Farmers' Market
Organization: Leslieville Farmers' Market
Location: Queen and Greenwood, Leslieville, Toronto, Ontario

The Leslieville Farmers’ Market, entering it’s 7th season, is looking for volunteers to join us in making 2017 our best year yet! Our mandate is to foster engagement and relationships between urban residents and local farmers, growers and food producers. Our Market hosts community programming, live music, kids activities and advocates for sustainable initiatives in the neighbourhood and across the city. Voted NOW Magazine's Best Market in 2016, the Leslieville Farmers’ Market is an independent not-for-profit located in Jonathan Ashbridge Park at Queen and Greenwood and runs every Sunday May 28th (9am - 2pm) until October 29th.

Some volunteer positions available (but not limited to):

  • Market Prep Team (Set’er up and Tear’er down)
  • Creatives! (Custom signage and market aesthetics)
  • Market Management Team
  • Fundraising
  • Events and Promotion
  • Marketing team
  • Kids Activities and Programming
  • Community Programming
