Position: Bike Obstacle Course Attendant

Spread the joy of biking by helping oversee our Joyride Bike Obstacle Course this summer!

If you enjoy working with children and love bikes, we have just the role for you! Join our dedicated team of volunteers to help oversee our Joyride Bike Obstacle Course for visitors ages 3 to 93! The course is open on Wednesday evenings and Sunday afternoons in July & August. Getting more Torontonians out on bikes is good for the environment, personal fitness, and fun!

Commitment: At least 2-3 shifts each month.

What you bring:

  • The ability to ride a bike
  • Experience volunteering or working with children
  • A strong sense of fun!
  • Must be 15 years old or older

When & Where: Sunday afternoons from 12PM-2PM and Wednesday evenings from 5PM - 8PM in July & August at the Evergreen Brick Works, 550 Bayview Ave.

How we’ll support you: Attend our mandatory training session on Wednesday, June 27 from 6 PM – 8 PM. We will provide you with the support you need to feel confident overseeing the course.

Good to know: Evergreen runs a free shuttle bus from Broadview subway station, and the 28A Davisville bus regularly stops at EBW on weekends. The Beltline trail, Milkman’s lane, and the new Bayview bike lane make the site accessible by bike. How to get here.
