Are you a people person that wants to use your relationship-building skills to benefit others? Do you have a wealth of sales and retail experience, and are you excited about contributing to the development of beautiful new textile products? Want to volunteer in a role focused on fair-trade and empowering indigenous women artisans? This is your chance to explore an incredible region of Peru while working directly with remote communities and contributing your skills in a truly meaningful way.

Mosqoy’s Q’ente Textile Retail Manager is an exciting office and field-based volunteer position, which involves managing the retail relationships of a small social enterprise that is part of a grassroots international non-profit. Mosqoy is a registered Canadian charitable organization that works in remote communities of the Peruvian Andes, offering opportunities for economic development while nurturing the threatened indigenous Quechua culture. We operate three main programs: the Q’ente Textile Program, which supports indigenous communities and women weavers by revitalizing textile traditions through its social enterprise (Mosqoy Peruvian Textiles); the T’ikary Youth Program, which offers promising youth of the region opportunities for post-secondary education; and the Mink’a Global Stewarship Program, which aims to raise global awareness and responsibility in schools and universities in North America through courses and presentations, and through our Field School in Peru.
