Position: Social Media Coordinator

The Canadian Conservation Photographers Collective (CCPC) is an organization comprised of 29 conservation photographers from across Canada. Our objective is to shed light on pressing conservation issues across Canada and promote natural science education through powerful, inspiring and engaging visual storytelling.

We are currently recruting for two Social Media Coordinators (SCMs). The successful applicants will share responsibilities with the existing Social Media Coordinator in managing the social media accounts currently hosted by the CCPC. Specific duties will include coordinating and scheduling daily and weekly posts to contain images, videos, and stories along with associated written content. Additionally, the candidates will be expected to monitor and comment on other social media accounts as well as individual posts. In addition to scheduling daily posts, the SMCs will respond to requests for urgent posts as required.

The successful candidates will need to demonstrate familiarity and expeience with the following social media platforms:

  • Instagram
  • Facebook
  • Google Business
  • LinkedIn
  • Twitter
  • Vero
  • TikTok
