Interested in learning more about small scale agriculture? Do you enjoy being active outside and working with plants? Are you interested in selling vegetables at a farmers market?
Join us as we grow organic vegetables on our small-scale urban farm. We operate a market garden on ½ an acre of land in Jordan Station that provides veggies for the local community through the farmers market and a small veggie box program.
Our veggies are primarily grown by hand using hoes, wagons and handheld tools. We seed, transplant, weed, and harvest all of our crops by hand. Learn more about veggies- how they grow, their needs, how to harvest them, and much more! Learn what it takes to get food to your table.
Volunteer opportunties/ high school co-op positions are available beginning in May through October, 2022.
If you are interested in participating in the growing produce on weekdays- whether for a couple of hours or the whole day, contact us using the email listed below. Similarly, if you are interested in helping us sell at the farmers market on Saturdays between 6 am – 1:30 pm, please get in touch with us as well. If you have any additional questions, don’t hesitate to ask. Looking forward to hearing from you!
