Volunteers are invaluable members of the Green Party of Ontario office team. Their fresh ideas, positive attitudes, and strong work ethic not only add to the dynamic of the office, but also contribute greatly to the success of the party.
We're currently looking for hard-working, self-motivated, positive individuals to join our volunteer team.
Volunteers can get involved in many ways; by joining the policy or writing team, helping with administrative duties at our office, conducting research, helping out at an event, or coming up with a new and fun way to get involved that best suits the applicant’s interests.
As a member of the GPO volunteer team, volunteers gain valuable experience, meet new people, and get to learn more about the party and overall provincial political process.
Some potential responsibilities:
General administrative duties; data entry and responding to emails
Assist with mailings to members (snail mail and email)
Perform research on policy and current issues
Scheduling is flexible between the hours of 10-5 Monday to Friday. Our office is located in Liberty Village on the west end of downtown Toronto (King & Dufferin).
We ask for a minimum commitment of three hours per week from our volunteers.
Please email a current copy of your resume and a brief cover letter to:
with the subject “Volunteer Application”. Please ensure your cover letter outlines why you want to volunteer with the Green Party of Ontario as well as what role (if any) you are specifically looking to volunteer with.
