Position: ReStore Volunteer
Organization: Habitat for Humanity Halton-Mississauga
Location: Halton-Mississauga Region, Ontario
At Habitat, our goal is to give more hard working families a "hand up" – the opportunity to create new memories in a place that they can finally call "home.” Our volunteers help make this dream a reality for so many families and individuals in our community. Whether it be in our offices, our ReStores or on our construction sites, volunteers use their gifts and talents to create a better world for those who simply need a helping hand to get them to a better place.
The role of volunteers in the ReStore is to support Habitat for Humanity Halton-Mississauga to raise funds to cover the affiliate’s operational costs and build homes in the Halton-Mississauga community. The role of volunteers in the offices is to support various departments including the volunteer department, family services department, marketing department, etc.
