Slow Food Canada is looking for English to French interpreters for the upcoming National Summit in Guelph May 2-5. As an interpreter, you will help Slow Food Canada, a non-profit organization that protects local food cultures and traditions, communicate its important mandate to French-speaking delegates. This year's Summit is packed with inspiring talks, engaging workshops, and of course delicious fare. Your responsibilities: Provide simultaneous interpretation from English to French for our French guests attending the Summit. You will be expected to interpret for 30 mins at a time, with breaks in between and rotations with other interpreters to keep you fresh!
Experience required: Bilingualism, comfort with simultaneous interpretation, knowledge of vocabulary related to Slow Food.
