Title: Project Manager - Policy Development
Organization: Green Party of Ontario
Location: Toronto or anywhere in Ontario
We are looking for self-motivated volunteers to help with research and writing in the area of party policy and communications development. With an election on the horizon next year, our party has a growing need for volunteers to contribute to policy research, briefing notes, and voter correspondence.
Responsibilities and projects:
Research and compile information to be used for briefing notes on a range of key policy issues.
Respond to policy inquiries and questionnaires.
Work with staff on the organization and completion of a major party policy document.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong research skills; experience analyzing and monitoring public policy issues
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; ability to effectively communicate goals, timelines, and issues as they arise
Interest in provincial politics and knowledge of current issues
Our head office is located in Toronto, but we are happy to work with remote volunteers across the province.
