ENVIRONMENTAL INTERNS

Position: Ecology Ottawa Summer Intern
Type: unpaid / volunteer
Organization: Ecology Ottawa
Location: Ottawa, Ontario

Are you passionate about the environment?

Are you interested in getting experience in not-for-profit work?

Ecology is looking for Interns from July-September for our Ottawa Municipal Elections Campaign. Ecology Ottawa’s Election Campaign centers around Ottawa's October 22nd Municipal Election. Our goal at Ecology Ottawa is to make Ottawa the green capital of Canada. In order to achieve our goals we need a more environmentally friendly City Council. We are a non-partisan organization, but we are encouraging citizens to be educated and concerned about the environment when they go to vote for their City Councillor in October.

The Internship would include assisting on Ecology Ottawa events, door-to-door conversations with people about the environment and assisting with data in the office. The schedule is flexible, we would be asking for twenty-thirty hours a week. We are looking for people who are available to work evenings.

We do not require experience just integrity and a passion for environmental issues.

To apply email our Community Organizer, Dana Taylor with your resume and a brief cover letter about your interest.
