VOLUNTEER POSITION

Position: Volunteer Co-Leader, Comox Valley Club
Organization: NatureKidsBC
Location: Courtenay/Comox Valley, Vancouver Island BC

NatureKids BC runs nature clubs for children aged 5-12 and their families in 25 communities all over BC. We are looking for a co-leader for our Comox Valley Club. As a co-leader of a local nature club, your primary responsibility will be to organize hands-on outdoor field trips called Explorer Days for NatureKids members and their families. You can lead these events yourself, or bring an expert, one of our Nature Mentors to share their knowledge on a specific topic.

All our club leaders are volunteers – if you share our passion for connecting kids with nature, if you enjoy organizing activities and can help plan 10 explorer day events per year this opportunity may be for you. We provide all the training, ongoing support and liability insurance.

To learn more about becoming a club leader or co-leader, please contact Christina Chowaniec, Program Coordinator at coordinator@naturekidsbc.ca or apply online.
