Position: Business Development Volunteer
Company: Solar Wind Reliance Initiatives Ltd. (SWRI)
Location: anywhere in Canada
Solar Wind Reliance Initiatives Ltd. (SWRI) is a renewable energy company working towards providing clean, unique grid-parity hybrid renewable energy technology for the over 200,000 Canadians and 1.3 billion people globally currently living without electricity or relying on environmentally harmful, unreliable, unhealthy and exorbitantly expensive diesel generated-energy. SWRI has completed its patents and demonstration unit and is beginning its first First Nation's micro-grids and business expansion.
We are looking for a volunteer to help build our company, to help build a solution that curbs global warming and improves the quality of life for tens of thousands of (mostly Indigenous) Canadians, during an exciting period of business expansion. The volunteer can learn about the inner workings of the renewable energy field, business operations model, funding model, and market strategy, helping us in progress through our final stage of Seed stage financing into full scale-manufacturing expansion. The volunteer will have location and scheduling flexibility- with the signing of a non-disclosure agreement. For the successful applicant, the Business Development Volunteer position requires research and writing skills and entails working with the company founders and executive to complete business development and sales research tasks, document preparation, grant writing, and application writing, all of which will develop and directly fund Indigenous community clean and affordable electricity.
