The Sound of Music Festival in Burlington, Ontario is seeking hard-working volunteers (age 18+) with a keen interest in sustainability and waste diversion to join our award-winning Eco-Team.
Play a key role in helping our festival maintain its high waste diversion rate from landfill of 91% !
We are looking for dedicated people from the Burlington, Hamilton, Oakville, Milton area, who are available to help out on most days of the festival:
Why get involved?
This is a rewarding, hands-on, eco-action opportunity where you can make an immediate difference, plus gain experience in waste diversion and enhance your supervisory skills.
Previous related experience is an asset, but not essential. We are happy to train suitable applicants, and we offer a supportive team environment, with an emphasis on safety and best work practices.
Please note, this is a volunteer position and no remuneration is provided. Gloves and Eco-Team t-shirt will be provided. Food is provided during festival shifts, plus tons of great live music!
