Transportation Options Association of Ontario is looking for two volunteer board members.
Responsibilities of the board are: strategic planning, financial oversight, legal issues, human resources and project oversight.
Board members also lead and participate in committees such as HR, Finance, Strategic Planning, and other as needed.
While we would welcome potential volunteers with a range of skills, experience in non-profit law, HR and/or Accounting are also desired.
Transportation Options (TO) is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering sustainable transportation and tourism ideas and innovations by engaging in research, project development, and promotion of choices that are healthy, integrated, convenient, economically beneficial, and environmentally sound.
TO.’s mandate is to work together with key industries and their stakeholders, many of whom traditionally do not work together, to develop tourism and transportation systems, infrastructure and policies that are efficient, encourage a range of tourism and transportation choices, and support vibrant communities and healthy economies.
