VOLUNTEER POSITION

Position: Homestead volunteer
Type: volunteer with food and lodging (see below)
Location: Atlin, northern BC / south of Whitehorse, Yukon Territory

Small family of 3 living on an off-grid homestead in the northern wilderness is looking for volunteers in August/September/October to help build a greenhouse, harvest firewood and help process meat that we will hunt together.

We also operate an organic coffee roastery and can always use some helping hands in there (packaging coffee/help at the farmer's market).

We offer food and lodging (in your own heated cabin or wall tent), in exchange for +/- 25 hrs of volunteering a week.

There will also be opportunities for berry picking and local exploration/outdoor fun. We have bikes/canoes/kayaks etc that you are welcome to use.

Please contact us at:

You can look at the website of the roastery at http://www.atlinmountaincoffee.ca

We speak English and French. Single persons and couples welcome.
