Position: Education Coordinator/ Program Support
Organization: Cariboo Chilcotin Conservation Society (CCCS)
Location: Williams Lake, BC

Start date: March 12, 2019

Part time, contract position

Hourly rate: between $23-$28/hr (dependent on expertise/experience)

Exciting work with conservation issues, education and public awareness, working with a Board of Directors and programs staff.


  • Undergrad degree in a related field (Business or Administrative Management, Natural Resource Management, Education, Non-profit Management), or equivalent in work experience, in a related field.
  • Confident verbal and written reporting/presentation skills
  • Good computer skills & understanding of financial management
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal skills & professional etiquette; able to work well independently, as well as within a group.


  • Coordinate the running of the CCCS events and programs
  • Assure administrative functions (i.e. applying for grants, funding reports, manage budgets for various grants and fee-for-services) are carried out effectively and efficiently
  • Provide critical support to current education programs, includes Water & Waste Wise, ecosystems modules, Parks Guide development, current topics of environmental concern
