Hiring: Fleet Support and Installers
Company: Vancouver Bike Share Inc.

Compensation: $18/hr + 4% in lieu of vacation (+ benefits when eligible)
License required: NO

Seeking any and all of the following:

• Full-time (32-40 hr per week – permanent or fixed-term contracts)
• Part-time (24 hours per week – permanent or fixed-term contracts)

Our fixed-term contracts are either 8 or 10 weeks in duration with option to extend (perfect for students!).

The Role

We are expanding the Mobi by Shaw Go bike share system and introducing e-bikes! We need handy people that want to work outside and assist with this expansion effort.

You will assist our team assembling and installing new stations and help redistribute bikes throughout the expanded system area. Regular cleaning and maintenance of all of the above is also part of this role.

As a sustainable transportation company, we want to open our doors to more team members that have chosen not to ever become drivers. A license is NOT required for this particular position.

Great candidates will have:

• An ability to load, lift, and roll bicycles and equipment (~50 pounds)
• A passion for working with your hands, tools, and in collaboratively teams
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Comfort using app based technology (touchscreen tablets)
• Ability to start early (6:30am) or end late (10:30pm) from our East Van HQ (weekends may be expected)
