Positions: Urban Agriculture Ambassador
Type: contract (late August, see below)
Company: Ripple Farms Inc.

About the Company

Ripple Farms Inc. is an urban agriculture enterprise, located in Toronto, Ontario. Our team consults on various agriculture and agri-tech projects including: aquaponics, hydroponics, vertical farms, production management plans, operational health and safety, food safety and compliance, and controlled environment design. This year, our team is participating at the Canadian National Exhibition with a dynamic Urban Agriculture Activation.

Our business is built on three main pillars: Education, Innovation and Local Food. We believe that education is critical to creating systemic change in the way our agricultural system operates. Through education we are able to help people become self sustaining through learning how to grow their own food and understanding urban agriculture opportunities in Toronto. We are also able to interest children in new forms of agriculture and agri-technologies that may lead them towards emerging careers in the industry.
