Position: Arborist Ground Worker

At Heritage Tree Care we specialize in mature oak health care, high-end tree & shrub enhancement, large technical tree pruning, planting and the occasional tricky removal. We offer full-time arborist ground workers:

  • $17.50 - $22.50 per/hour

Please apply if you are willing to:

  • Perform physically demanding manual labor in all manner of weather conditions
  • Perform ground support operations such as, but not limited to, rigging, cutting, brush management and chipping, equipment organization and maintenance
  • Safely operate and maintain chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders, mini skid steer and other equipment as needed
  • Be unequivocally available for emergency storm response; be available for 4 weekends of work per year
  • Embody and practice leadership, communication, motivation, ambition, and serious work ethic
  • Meet, maintain, and exceed strict safety policies and expectations of the company
  • Show up every day on time with a good attitude and proper PPE
  • Learn, understand and respect the challenging and intrinsically (potentially) hazardous nature of the urban tree care industry
  • Be open to giving and receiving feedback from co-workers and management
  • Possess current CPR level C and First Aid certification or be willing to acquire
  • Firmly adhere to our company code of ethics
