EcoSpark Backgrounder: EcoSpark is an environmental charity that empowers people to take an active role in protecting and sustaining nature. We do this by giving people the tools for education, monitoring and influencing positive change. Position Description: We are looking for a dynamic, driven and well-organized individual to join EcoSpark. The successful candidate will coordinate and implement EcoSpark’s core education programs with the Education Team throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and the Greenbelt. The Environmental Education Coordinator will undertake program planning and logistics, program implementation, and aid in further development and promotion of EcoSpark’s education programs with a focus on our Changing Currents program – a citizen science stream monitoring program with grade 6-12 students across the GTA.
This is a full-time contract to December 2019 (2 years and 9 months) with a possibility of contract extension.

Salary: Commensurate with experience
