Position: Sustainable/permaculture farm internship / odd jobs

We have one month (possibly more) of work available on our farm, doing many and varied odd jobs, such as: fencing, landscaping, animal care, and assisting with renovations.
We are a permaculture farm in the Fulford Valley on Salt Spring Island. We have a small cattle herd, horses, laying hens, vegetable gardens, an orchard and hay fields. We enjoy a community of 10-14 people on our farm – friends, family and newcomers too.
We are looking for someone strong and capable with a good attitude. You must have a valid driver's licence.
Salt Spring Island is a great place — beautiful land and water, and creative and interesting folk.
Hours: 30-40 hours per week
Honorarium: $1000-$1500 per month, to be discussed
Housing: on-farm accommodation is included in tiny cabin or room in shared house
