Position: Crop Worker - Lavender
Type: age 30 & under / summer

Location: Badjeros, Ontario
Age eligibility: 15 to 29 years old

Lavender Creek Farm is a small family-owned farm near Collingwood, Ontario. We grow beautiful lavender on our farm in a friendly atmosphere.

Summer Crop Worker

The crop worker is responsible for assisting with:

  • planting of lavender plants
  • harvest of lavender
  • weed control
  • pruning
  • making lavender bundles
  • preparing and shipping orders
  • other related tasks

We are looking for someone who likes working outside for extended periods of time, who likes physical work. Other qualifications we are looking for are self-directed, motivated, hardworking, able to carry out instructions, flexible and a good team player.

Our farm is located on a rural road close to Badjeros, Ontario (about 20 minutes from Creemore and Shelburne, and 25 minutes from Collingwood and Wasaga Beach).

Transportation to/from Lavender Creek Farm is not provided, however, we are able to pick up and drop off within a reasonable distance.

  • Contract length: 3 months, full-time or part-time, flexible hours (weekdays and/or week-end)
  • Expected start date: 2022-05-30
  • Salary: $17.00 per hour
  • COVID-19 considerations: We will follow all public health guidelines with regards to COVID-19 as they become available.
