We are looking for someone to help us with various operations tasks necessary to pursuing our plastic-free mission. The position entails data entry for accounting and general bookkeeping, it also includes helping with our website content and design, helping with operations and inventory-related tasks, as well as assisting with marketing and general administrative tasks.
We are looking for someone who is:
Passionate about the environment and determined to have a positive impact
Creative, a multi-tasker, detail-oriented, and organized
A team player who can also work autonomously and be proactive (a self-starter)
Comfortable with computers and is resourceful (ready to Google solutions)
Proficient in a range of communications and social media platforms
Sees this opportunity as not just a job, but part of her or his calling
Desired Skills and Experience:
Familiar with data entry and is comfortable using excel
Experience with Quickbooks online (or other accounting softwares) is a plus
Experience in customer service is an asset
Excellent communication and written skills in English and French is nice to have
Between 18 and 30 years of age as of May 1, 2018
Registered as a full-time student during the preceding academic year
Intends to return to school on a full-time basis during the next academic year
Student in a post-secondary, CEGEP, vocational or technical program
Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
Legally entitled to work according to Quebec legislation and regulations
