Fronterra (http://www.fronterra.ca) is a unique, high-end agro-tourism experience set on a 56 acre working farm. The farm cultivates organic malting barley and hops for beer production as well as a 15,000 sq. ft botanical heirloom garden. Fronterra operates a boutique luxury camp in the waterfront forest which provides guests a chance to reconnect to the natural beauty and simplicity of our farm, fields, lake and forests.
Through this unique experience, Fronterra promotes a reconnection to simplicity, self-sufficiency and sustainability by connecting guests to food while transferring related skills that have a positive impact on the environment. At Fronterra, the Camp Ranger is responsible for ensuring a premium quality experience for Camp guests during their stay. It is therefore imperative that a professional, enthusiastic and courteous demeanour is maintained at all times. The main responsibilities of the Camp Ranger are threefold:
Fronterra is looking for a passionate, creative and hard working candidate that shares the same interest for sustainability, local farming practices, social responsibility and community health. Having an educational background in agri-tourism, sustainable agriculture or other related fields is an asset. The candidate must also be an outdoor enthusiast who does not fear to get their hands dirty in different weather conditions.
Salary: Starting at $15/hour.
