The Bay Area Restoration Council (BARC) is offering one full-time position starting in May 2019.
JOB DESCRIPTION: The successful candidate will assist withthe delivery of BARC’s school programs, outreach events and communications. The role would predominantly consist of leading environmental educational programs at local schools. Other roles may include: participating in Hamilton’s Children’s Water Festival, operating a booth at outreach events (I.e. 100 in 1 Day and art crawls), leading guided hikes (i.e.Jane’s Walks and McMaster student groups), and creating content for our Online Community Forum.
SCHEDULE AND RATE OF PAY: Schedule will vary, but is for 30 hours/week for eight weeks at a rate of $15 per hour. Some evening and weekend work will be required.
