Position: Digital & Data Coordinator
Organization: Nature Canada
Location: Ottawa, Ontario

This is a Green Corp position, available to youth aged 18 to 30. Compensation will be $20/hour based on a 37.5 hour work week.

Job Summary: The Digital and Data Coordinator works to organize and analyze the data in the organization’s various databases. This person assists the Director of Development to engage and grow supporters to take actions that will help support the protection and restoration of nature in Canada.

Specific duties:

  • Develop, track and manage relationships with a broad base of stakeholders across Canada through email outreach
  • Updates constituent contact information, and address accuracy;
  • Processing of donor data to help raise funds in support of the organization’s conservation, advocacy and restoration campaigns and programs;
  • Executes the data import and export processes for the Raiser’s Edge, Engaging Networks, Salesforce databases;
  • Does data uploads from recent surveys and market research
  • Conducts proactive data consistency and quality checks;
  • Performs data querying and reporting functions to support and enhance constituent engagement efforts;
  • Follows and proposes revisions to operating procedures and documentation related to areas of responsibility;
  • Assists with digital-based emails and web-based donation forms.
  • Assists with special digital based action campaigns
  • Assist with outreach, intake forms, webinars, website and online platform for Women for Nature
  • Other duties as required

Requirements: The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Post secondary degree in STEM related program from a Canadian post-secondary school
  • Citizen/permanent residents or refugee status and legally able to work in Canada
  • Experience in project management including proficiency in data/content management systems such as Raiser Edge, Engaging Networks, Zoho surveys, Word Press, and planning & monitoring tools such as Google Analytics;
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple responsibilities and demonstrates excellent organizational and prioritization skills to meet deadlines;
  • Close attention to detail;
  • A can-do-approach with positive attitude and willingness to support others and work collaboratively with diverse groups of people; and
  • Excellent English language communications skills required. French language skills a strong asset.
