About Us

Troes Corp is a Canadian advanced energy storage technology company focusing on distributed energy storage products and systems. We develop, design, manufacture and deliver high-performance energy storage systems that integrate our proprietary Battery Modules, Battery Management Systems (BMS), Enclosures and Power Conversion System (PCS).

Opportunity

We are looking for a Business Development Representative who would like to join our team and grow with the company.

Job Description

  • Do market research and find potential market opportunities.
  • Communicate with leads that show an interest in TROES products.
  • Enter or update lead information into the CRM system.
  • Promote the company’s energy storage products and systems to the customers.
  • Build strong relationship with our customer bases.
  • Work well with other team members to make sure customer gets the best service at every stage.
  • The most important thing is to sell the product.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Skills

  • This position is funded by Electricity Human Resources Canada’s (EHRC) Green Jobs Program, candidates must meet the followings to be eligible:
    • 30 years of age or younger
    • Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or have refugee status
  • Strong background in sales and business development
  • Excellent verbal English communication skills
  • Previous customer service experience would be an asset
  • Comfortable working in a start-up, fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Be able to create strong and meaningful relationships with customers, and do product demonstrations

Experience

  • Sales experience: Minimum 2 years sales experience; B2B sales experiences are preferred
  • Education background: Bachelor or above, engineering background preferred
  • Fluent English (required)

Contract length: 6 months, permanent position opportunity will be considered after the 6-month probation.

Expected start date: 2020-10-01

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Base Salary+Commission
