Type: part-time, commission (no base salary)

Do you believe education needs to change to effectively prepare students for the future? Are you looking for a chance to make a positive global impact? Have you had experience connecting with school administrators?

Then this is your chance to join our social impact startup Thrive, which empowers high school students with the experience and skills needed to discover a fulfilling career by solving real-world problems related to the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. We aim to serve 20 countries in the next five years.

To achieve our vision, we're looking for an aspiring entrepreneur who also believes education needs to improve to make students future ready. As our Educational Change Agent & Sales Ambassador you will reach out to school administrators to inspire them towards our vision. This role gives you the chance to bring your own ideas to life, explore your own strategies, and have an international learning experience. You'll start with a 6 month contract, which can be extended or grow into a role that develops and manages the entire sales operations.

Since we are a bootstrapped startup we're looking for someone who currently has a way to support themselves financially. For the moment we can only offer a financial incentive of 5-20% commision on our programs that range from $2-10K. Also, it takes four or more months to close deals with schools.

The Person (Required)

  • 2+ years experience connecting with school administration
  • Experience with cold calls and emails
  • Located in North America

  • Motivated by youth and sustainability
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ambitious and self-directed
  • Open/direct communication
  • International mindset

The Role

  • Support Thrive 10+ hours/week
  • 5-10 discovery calls per month
  • Contact 20-30 schools per month
