The Company:

Earth Distributors supplies environmentally friendly food service ware and packaging. All of our products are made from plants. We do not carry any plastic or foam items, all items are non-toxic, have a reduced footprint, and everything is 100% compostable.

Our goal is to help customers reduce their environmental footprint and to leave a green legacy for the future. This is done through our environmentally friendly products and our Back To Earth program. A portion of every case sold is committed to Back To Earth and these funds are donated annually to environmental programs and charities.

The Position:

We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and driven Sales Representative who is able to generate their own leads, drive sales and deliver a fantastic client experience.

To be successful as a Sales Representative, you should be curious, earnest, entrepreneurial, persistent, persuasive and have excellent negotiation skills. Ultimately, an exceptional Sales Representative should be driven, self motivated and able to demonstrate effective communication and customer service skills to continually meet or exceed new and recurring sales targets and deliver on our customer’s needs.

The Sales Representative's responsibilities include: identifying, researching and making first cold contact with future customers, informing potential and existing customers of our product and company features and benefits in person or via telephone. You should also be able to create as well as present compelling, persuasive and irresistible offers for our current and future customers to engage with us for years to come.


  • Identifying, researching and making first cold contact. This includes cold calling.
  • Building and sustaining long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with existing and potential customers.
  • Continually meeting or exceeding sales targets by selling company products to new and existing customers.
  • Maintaining an accurate record of all activity such as; leads, customer accounts, future/current client communication in our CRM system.
  • Be aware of competitors' products and pricing as well as market conditions.
  • Keeping abreast of the latest industry developments by attending meetings, training workshops, and industry events.
  • Strategically negotiating with potential and existing customers to close sales.

Nice to have but not required... (training provided) 

  • Familiarity and experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, general computer skills and social media skills are beneficial.
  • Experience in Mac computers and software.

The Location:

We are located in Calgary Alberta Canada and serve customers across the country. Currently you will be required to work from your home office. Some travel outside the city will be required.
