Who are we?
We are sustainable flower farm and seasonally inspired floral design studio, located in beautiful Prince Edward County, Ontario. In its sixth year, Floralora grows approximately 3 acres of annuals, perennials, shrubs, and vines. Our specialty cut flowers are mostly field grown and we also utilize a greenhouse and thee high tunnels for season extension and growing more fragile blooms. We sell locally and in Toronto to florists, grocery stores, subscription holders, market, local flower deliveries, weddings and events, run workshops and have a roadside stand here on our farm.
Position: This is a seasonal part-time position with the possibility to move to full-time. It is a multi-faceted position that includes, but is not limited to: Floral design, wedding/event installations, bulk grocery and subscription bouquet making, customer relations, market sales, a possibility of facilitation of workshops. There is always the likelihood of some farm work (week dependent) as well including Field preparation, greenhouse work, seeding, transplanting, weeding, harvesting, post-harvest preparation of flowers.

Requirements of an ideal candidate are as follows:
Wage: Dependant on experience
Schedule: Three days a week (some combination of Wednesday–Saturday) with the possibility for more as the season progresses. Starting date flexible in April and running to the end of October. Must be available to work weekends.
