We are looking for new folks to join our team — learn the city, get in shape & work outside this summer!

Shift Delivery Co-op is a Vancouver-based worker-owned cooperative. We are dedicated to using electric cargo tricycles & bicycles to deliver goods around the city while reducing our carbon footprint and impacting our communities in a positive way by promoting human interactions & having fun!

Our scheduling is flexible for different lifestyles, the work is interesting, and we support our team towards building the lives they want to live.

Position: Part-Time or Full-Time Delivery Person aka “Triker”
Number of Positions: 2+
Hours: ~20-35
Wage: $17.00/hr to start + extended health benefits + regular raises

To thrive at Shift we are looking for folks who…

• Enjoy being outside riding, no matter the weather
• Can be comfortable handling up to 50lbs over short distances (we use hand carts!)
• Have a great attitude - friendly & professional
• Are safe road users & comfortable being around traffic
• Have regular availability; ideally able to work some weekends or holidays
• Can ideally stay for at least 6 months

Working as a Triker at Shift requires you to…

• Make deliveries using a cargo tricycle or bicycle (all equipment & training provided)
• Use apps on a work phone to ‘complete’ deliveries & stay connected
• Be team-oriented, friendly & safe. You work alone, but as part of a team
• Travel around the city & plan the most efficient routes (even if you don’t know it you will learn!)
