Location: Greater Toronto Area GTA & Mississauga, Ontario
We're looking for staff to support planting activities and exotic invasive management in the GTA and particularly within the City of Mississauga.
The successful applicant will:
... be comfortable in the use of hand tools and have some experience with power tools.
... have a full G Licence and be able to demonstrate competency or aptitude driving a half tonne truck.
... will be comfortable with the use of pesticides for the purpose of conservation management.
... be enthusiastic about the prospect of managing exotic invasive plant material and maintaining/improving diversity of flora in the urban landscape.
The successful applicant may:
... have a chainsaw certificate and experience.
... already have pesticide certification or experience.
... be comfortable with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly word and excel for the purpose of keeping daily records and project reporting.
Hourly pay for this seasonal, full-time work is commensurate with experience and skills.
