Growing Gardens delivers personalized and professional garden care to clients who love their gardens. We use current, organic, sustainable horticultural practices, amend and care for soil ecosystems, create custom seasonal urns, design and install permanent and annual plantings, rejuvenate and renovate existing plantings, encourage the use of natives and edibles, prune shrubs and small trees artistically for health and longevity, consult and educate our clientele.
Opportunity for skilled and passionate gardener to develop, improve and care for a variety of residential fine gardens in the GTA. Successful candidate will work independently and also as an assistant to Master Gardener/Owner. Expand and apply your skills and knowledge of current horticultural/environmental practices through on job projects.
Position is April-August, seasonal, part or full time with opportunity to continue. Must be able to walk, TTC or bicycle to arrive near High Park in Toronto.
The ideal candidate can work hard and be nice, adapt to the unexpected, use good judgment, be generous with helping, use efficiencies, recognize beauty, and bring a positive outlook to the daily work environment.
