Would you like to be a farmer?

Position: Farm Internship
Term: May-November, food+lodging+stipend (see below)
Farm: Winding Path organic Farm
Location: Madoc, Ontario

We are offering a long-term opportunity for one or two interns to learn and work with us for the 2019 growing season and beyond. Winding Path Organic Farm is a diverse farm that grows 3 acres of berries and vegetables for our customers at the Memorial Centre Farmer’s Market in Kingston and our food processing business. This will be our 7th season running a farm and food processing business.

What we are looking for:

  • A desire to have your own business
  • An interest in learning to farm sustainably
  • Love of the outdoors
  • To be able to commit for the full growing season (May to November +)
  • An interest in a longer-term opportunity
  • A creative thinker
  • Self starter
  • Physically fit
  • Ability to work with others and independently
